Ecommerce solution for sexual health company looking to provide discreet STI testing service.

the Brief

Online expert Martin Haynes wanted to develop a strong brand for a great keyword domain – stitest.com. Our brief was to create an Ecommerce website which dealt with the sensitive subject of sexual health in an accessible and reassuring way. The site needed to link directly to our client’s medical testing partner, allowing users to purchase STI testing kits and return them for analysis.
It was essential that the site was simple to use and managed the confidential information provided by customers efficiently and securely.

The Project

One Result developed a lightweight and easily-managed Ecommerce solution. WordPress was used as the base package, with the functionality of the site extended through Shopp and a number of additional custom plugins. Integration with Google Checkout provided a secure payment gateway, and the custom plugins allowed for a completely automated system for order processing and despatch to customers.
Our creative team’s vision for STITest reflects the client’s professional and medical status whilst creating a warm and reassuring brand. Once launched, we promoted the site through the development of a Paid Search campaign utilising both Push and Pull networks. The result – discrete sexual health management for customers, and an effective and automated business for our client.

The Result

STITest has now processed a large volume of tests, providing customers with a secure and discrete solution to managing their sexual health. One Result is currently developing a number of strategic partnerships in order to increase brand awareness amongst key target markets.
